On The Radio CD
On The Radio is the 5th studio album released by The Lewis Hamilton Band, written, recorded and mastered by Lewis himself. The album features virtuoso drummer Ian Beestin who joined the band in 2017, and most of the album was recorded at Coneysthorpe Village Hall, famous for its wonderful natural acoustics.
The album demonstrates Lewis sticking to his Blues roots, with content varying from lively shuffles, up-beat and energetic blues rock and emotive solo tracks. Even during early days of distribution it's had gtahered huge amounts of praise, and within days of being submitted to the BBC, the title track was featured on York and North Yorkshire BBC Introducing, with DJ Jericho Keys commenting : “I’m really digging this - makes you walk around like you’re ten men.”
